OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING THE 1992-93 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM FOR THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the
administration is authorized to submit the 1992-93 Community Development Block
Grant application as follows:
PLANNING and ADMINISTRATION
(20% of Entitlement Grant and Program Income - $169,000)
FUNDING APPLICANT PROGRAM/PROJECT
$ 95,871 City of Fort Collins CDBG Administration
2, 132 Neighbor-to-Neighbor, Inc. CHOICE Senior Housing Counseling
8,252 Neighbor-to-Neighbor, Inc. Comprehensive Counseling
ACQUISITION
FUNDING APPLICANT PROGRAM/PROJECT
$116,500 Ft. Collins United Way LCSI Building
(This is a "challenge grant" whereby the City will match
dollar-for-dollar, up to a maximum of $116,500, United Way
fund raising activities to pay for the $233,000 balance of
the mortgage for the LCSI building. The grant is also made
on the condition that rents charged to tenants will be no
higher than what is required to cover the operating costs
of the building.)

130,000 CARE Land for Low-Income Housing

(15% of Entitlement Grant and Program Income - $126,750)

$ 6,500 Disabled Resource Services Youth Employment Program
16,460 Crossroads Safehouse Shelter Manager
10,718 Senior Employment Services Employment Services
23, 182 Project Self-Sufficiency Family Self-Sufficiency
(This grant is for $10,000 with an additional $13,182 to be
allocated contingent upon the applicant receiving Section 8
Vouchers in September 1992. If the Vouchers are not received,
the Commission recommends the $13,182 be placed in CDBG
Program Contingency.)
