OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY FOR
FOSSIL CREEK TRAIL ACCESS IN
CLARENDON HILLS
WHEREAS, in March of 1990, the City Council adopted a plan to complete a
trail loop around the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to acquire land for trail access
along the Fossil Creek Trail Route located in the Clarendon Hills Subdivision for
this trail ; and
WHEREAS, Clarendon Hills Associates has offered to sell to the City a 1 .3
acre site that would provide this access for the amount of Thirty-three Thousand
Dollars ($33,000) ; and
WHEREAS, the money necessary to purchase this site is budgeted and
available in the Conservation Trust Fund; and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to acquire this site.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the City Manager be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into an agreement
with Clarendon Hills Associates for the purchase of a 1.3 acre site, which is
described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference, for an amount not to exceed Thirty-three Thousand Dollars ($33,000) .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 7th day of July, A.D. 1992.
