OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO
DAVE EDWARDS FOR HIS CONTRIBUTIONS
TO THE COMMUNITY AS COUNCILMEMBER
WHEREAS, Dave Edwards was elected as Councilmember representing District
4 and took office on March 14, 1989; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure as a Councilmember Dave Edwards served as a
member of the Poudre Fire Authority Board of Directors, the Ethics Review Board,
the Finance Committee, the Glacier Park Advisory Team, the Health and Safety
Committee, the Poudre R-1 Liaison Committee, the Wastewater Master Plan
Committee, the Water Demand Management Committee, an alternate member of the
Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors, and the Colorado Municipal
League Policy Committee; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Edwards also served as a liaison to various Boards
and Commissions and in numerous other assignments during his tenure as
Councilmember; and
WHEREAS, this period of time has seen great growth and change in the City,
and Dave Edwards was called upon to devote substantial time and energy to the
affairs of the City of Fort Collins.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the City expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dave Edwards
for his service and contributions to the community as Councilmember.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this 20th
day of April , A.D. 1993.
