OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE USE OF $78,000 AVAILABLE IN THE TRANSIT
SERVICES FUND FOR DIAL-A-RIDE PROGRAM COSTS IN 1994
WHEREAS, there is presently available in the Transit Services Fund $78,000,
which has been previously appropriated for implementing Route 10 of the Transfort
System; and
WHEREAS, this $78,000 is no longer needed for Route 10 of the Transfort
system; and
WHEREAS, the City provides the Dial -A-Ride Program ("the Program") to
eligible City residents; and
WHEREAS, the City's cost of providing the Program in 1994 has exceeded
anticipated costs for this Program due to the program's popularity; and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to pay for a portion of these
unexpected costs by using the $78,000 available in the Transit Services Fund for
this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the Seventy-eight Thousand Dollars ($78,000) available in the City's Transit
Services Fund for implementing Route 10 of the Transfort system is hereby
authorized to be used to pay for costs incurred by the City in providing the
Program in 1994.
