OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
WITH THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE
PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF BICYCLE PARKING FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the North Front Range Transportation and Air Quality Planning
Council has selected the project of purchasing and installing bicycle parking
facilities at designated public activity generators as an enhancement project for
FY 1994 ("the Project") ; and
WHEREAS, the Colorado Department of Transportation ("CDOT") has earmarked
$60,000 in federal enhancement funds to assist in the funding of the Project; and
WHEREAS, the Project will require local funding in the sum of $15,000,
which funds are available and appropriated; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the Project is in the best
interest of the citizens of the City and that the Mayor should be authorized to
execute an intergovernmental agreement with CDOT for the purpose of approving the
Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into an intergovernmental
agreement with the CDOT for the partial funding of the purchase and installation
of bicycle parking facilities at designated public activity generators, which
Project will be funded in the amount of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000) from
federal enhancement funds and Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000) from local
funds.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 5th day of July, A.D. 1994. // )
