OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING RESOLUTION 93-78 WHICH ESTABLISHED A
CONSOLIDATED WATER PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, on June 1, 1993, the Council adopted Resolution 93-78 establishing
a Water Planning Committee ("the Committee") ; and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of said Resolution, the Committee is to be
composed of the three Councilmembers named in Section 3 of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires that the Committee also include three members
of the Water Board, to be selected by the Water Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the operative language of Resolution 93-78 be, and the same hereby is,
amended so as to read as follows:
Section 1. That the Water Demand Management Committee and
Water Quality/Water Treatment Master Plan Committee are hereby
abolished.
Section 2. That there is hereby established a new committee
to be known as the Water Planning Committee, which shall consist of
three (3) members of the City Council and three (3) members of the
Water Board.
Section 3. That purposes of the Water Planning Committee
shall be to review and make recommendations to the City Council
regarding water demand management, water quality, water treatment
and other water related issues.
Section 4. That Councilmembers Alan Apt, Gina Janett and Bob
McCluskey are hereby appointed by the Council to serve as members of
the Water Planning Committee and that said Councilmembers shall
serve in such capacity until such time as Council may reconsider
such appointments.
Section 5. That the Water Board is hereby directed to appoint
three (3) of its members to serve on the Water Planning Committee
until such time as said members' term of service on the Water Board
expires or the Water Board reconsiders such appointments.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 6th day of July, A.D. 1993. �/ f
