OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO ENTER INTO A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
JAMES M. MONTGOMERY ENGINEERS
WHEREAS, a master plan of the City of Fort Collins Wastewater
Collection system is necessary to identify present and future limitations
of the system and to develop a computer model of the system; and
WHEREAS, in February of 1989, the City issued a request for proposals
for a Wastewater Collection System Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, upon analysis of the proposals, it has been determined that
James M. Montgomery Consulting Engineers should be engaged to perform such
work; and
WHEREAS, the City has negotiated a fee not to exceed One Hundred
Forty-nine Thousand Three Hundred and Five Dollars ($149,305) for the
performance of such work; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8-129 of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins, no professional services agreement in excess of Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($20,000) shall be entered into until approved by the City Council
in an open Council meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Purchasing Agent be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into a professional services agreement with James M. Montgomery Consulting
Engineers for a comprehensive study of the entire Wastewater Collection
System and the development of a computer model of the Wastewater Collection
System of the City, for a total cost not to exceed One Hundred Forty-nine
Thousand Three Hundred and Five Dollars ($149,305) .
Passed and adopted at a regular meting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 18th day of April , A.D. 1989.
