ASSIGNING A COUNCILMEMBER AS LIAISON TO
THE TRANSPORTATION BOARD
WHEREAS, the City Council appoints Councilmembers to serve as liaisons to
the City's boards and commissions; and
WHEREAS, the Council adopted Resolution 93-56 on April 20, 1993, which in
part appointed Councilmembers as liaisons to the boards and commissions; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 93-56 appointed Councilmember Gina Janett as the
liaison to the Transportation Board; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Will Smith has expressed a desire to assume the role
of liaison to the Transportation Board; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 91-100, adopted by the Council on July 2, 1991,
established a policy for the appointment of Council liaisons to the City's boards
and commissions, which provides that the Council may make such interim
appointments as it deems necessary or advisable in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the following_ named Councilmember be, and hereby is, appointed to serve as
the Council liaison to the Transportation Board:
Will Smith
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Cit puncil held this 19th
day of April , A.D. 1994.
