OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS ADOPTING
THE 1994 COMMUTER VANPOOL FARE STRUCTURE
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins operates a vanpooling program for
residents of northern Colorado; and
WHEREAS, it is intent of the Council of the City of Fort Collins to charge
fares for vanpooling services provided by the City; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate for those receiving vanpool services to pay the
ful 1 cus - of providing t'nvse services; and-
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City to recover the costs of providing
vanpooling services so that the City will be able to replace vans at the end of
their useful life.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the Commuter Vanpool Fare Structure, attached as Exhibit "A" and
incorporated herein by this reference, be, and hereby is, adopted.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Co cil held this 19th
day of April , 1994.

Exhibit "A"
Vanpool Fare Structure
Policy: The vanpool fares will equal the amount, per
subscriber, necessary to recover full operating
expenses (gas, maintenance, tires, insurance)
plus depreciation expenses (sufficient to recover
the replacement cost) for the vanpool vans.
An example of this policy: A six passenger vanpool that travels 5 days a week
would be-charged these-faras(Based on present costs):
