OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE COMPOSITION OF THE SITE SELECTION
COMMITTEE FOR DOWNTOWN CONCESSIONAIRE LOCATIONS
WHEREAS, the Council of thL- City of Fort Col Pins has adopted on second
reading Ordinance No. 36, 1994, amending Chapter 15 of the Code of the City of
Fort Collins relating to Licenses and Business Regulations; and
WHEREAS, amendments to Chapter 15 of the Code authorize the City to
regulate outdoor vending in the Downtown area through concessions; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to form a committee to select the locations in the
Downtown area that will be made available by the City for use by outdoor
concessionaires; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of Fort Collins that
the selection committee be composed of representatives of permanent, indoor
vendors, outdoor vendors, the Downtown Business Association and affected City
departments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the Site Selection Committee for Downtown Concessionaire locations shall be
composed of the following:
1 Representative of permanent vendors in the Downtown area.
1 Representative of outdoor vendors in the Downtown area.
1 Director of the Downtown Business Association.
4 Representatives of the Planning, Zoning, Transportation and
Treasury Departments of the City.
