OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
MAKING BOARD AND COMMISSION LIAISON
ASSIGNMENTS AND COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council appoints Councilmembers to serve as liaisons to
the City's boards and commissions; and
WHEREAS, Council has also established a number of Council committees and
makes appointments to these various committees; and
WHEREAS, several liaison and committee assignments were filled by
Councilmember Bob Winokur and are now vacant due to his resignation from the City
Council on January 4, 1994; and
WHEREAS, on February 17, 1994, Council appointed Will Smith to fill the
vacant District 2 seat on the Council ; and
WHEREAS, Council has heretofore appointed Councilmember Bob McCluskey to
replace Councilmember Winokur on the Council Finance Committee; and
WHEREAS, Council wishes to fill the remaining vacant liaison and committee
assignments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1. That the following named Councilmembers be, and hereby are,
appointed to serve as Council liaisons to the boards listed below until such time
as Council may reconsider such appointments:
BOARD LIAISON
- Election Board Will Smith
- Liquor/Massage Licensing Authority Will Smith
- Senior Advisory Board Gerry Horak
Section 2. That the following named Councilmember be, and hereby is,
appointed to serve as a member of the Council Governance Committee until such
time as the Council may reconsider such appointment:
Will Smith
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council held this 1st
day of March, A.D. 1994.
