OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
RECOGNIZING THE COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP EFFORTS
BEING UNDERTAKEN TO ASSIST WITH THE
RELOCATION OF RESIDENTS OF THE PIONEER MOBILE HOME PARK
WHEREAS, owners of the Pioneer Mobile Home Park have indicated that the Park will be
closed in 1996; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that community-wide participation and
cooperation is necessary in addressing the displacement of Pioneer Mobile Home Park residents; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has demonstrated a willingness to assist in community efforts
to relocate residents of Pioneer Mobile Home Park through the assignment of staff time and the
allocation of City controlled grant funds in the amount of$235,000; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes and commends the demonstration of community
responsiveness, cooperation, and understanding in assisting with the efforts to relocate residents of
Pioneer Mobile Home Park.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the community-wide participation and cooperation of local businesses, lending
agencies, non-profit agencies, the Pioneer Homeowners Association, housing agencies and the City
be and is hereby recognized and commended as an exemplary undertaking in assisting with the
relocation of the residents of the Pioneer Mobile Home Park.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the-Qity of Fort Coll' Id this
19th day of September, A.D. 1995.
