OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
SETTING THE DATES OF THE PUBLIC HEARINGS
ON THE 1997 PROPOSED CITY OF FORT COLLINS BUDGET
WHEREAS, the proposed budget for 1997 has been submitted to the Council by the City
Manager; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 3 of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins requires that,
within ten (10) days of the date of the submission of the annual budget estimates by the City
Manager, the Council shall set a time certain for public hearings on the budget; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to set hearing dates to receive public input on the proposed
1997 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That public hearings will be conducted by the City Council at the City Council
Chambers, City Hall West, 300 Laporte Avenue, on September 17, 1996, and October 1, 1996, at
6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing,to receive public input on the
proposed 1997 City of Fort Collins budget.
Section 2. That the notice attached hereto is hereby ordered to be published by the City Clerk
in a newspaper of general circulation so as to give timely notice of the public hearings.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins held this
3rd day of September, A.D. 1996.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
ON THE PROPOSED 1997 CITY OF FORT COLLINS BUDGET
Notice is hereby given that public hearings will be held in the Council Chambers in City Hall
West, 300 Laporte Avenue in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, on Tuesday, the 17th day of
September, 1996, and Tuesday, the 1st day of October, 1996, at the hour of 6:30 p.m., or as soon
thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing,to receive public input on the proposed 1997 City
of Fort Collins budget.
The City of Fort Collins will make reasonable accommodations for access to City services,
programs and activities and will make special communication arrangements for persons with
disabilities. Please call 221-6515 for assistance. The proposed budget will be on file September 1,
1996 and available for public inspection at the Office of the City Clerk at City Hall West, 300
Laporte Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado.
