RESOLUTION 95-80
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
EXTENDING THE PROCESS FOR APPOINTING THE CITY MA AGER
AND IDENTIFYING ADDITIONAL FINALISTS
WHEREAS, on December 6, 1994, the City Council ap�roved Resolution 94-205
establishing a process for the selection of the new City Manager, which process was modified to the
adoption of Resolution 95-6 on January 3, 1995; and /l
WHEREAS, in accordance with the foregoing process,final candidates for the City Manager
position were selected and interviewed by the City Counn�l'on May 19, 1995 and May 20, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes it to be in the best interests of the City, before
concluding the selection process, to interview additional finalists recommended by the executive
search firm.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE OLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That the qfy Manager selection process, as previously established by the
Council, is hereby modified �6 as to allow for the identification of additional finalists to be
interviewed by the City Council and the committees referred to in Resolutions 94-205 and 95-6.
Section 2. That at such time as the names of additional recommended finalists have been
submitted to the City'Council by the executive search firm, and such individuals have agreed to
continue through ]he selection process, a resolution approving the names of such individuals as
finalists should be presented to the Council for its consideration.
Passed/and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins held this
6th day of June, A.D., 1995.
