OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE CHARTER REVIEW COMMITTEE AND
REDUCING THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS TO BE APPOINTED TO THE COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 95-161 creating a Charter Review
Committee to be composed of eleven (11) registered electors of the City and directing the scope of
the Charter review; and
WHEREAS, the Council Governance Committee has recommended, and the Council has
determined, that the number of members to be appointed to the Charter Review Committee should
be reduced to nine (9) registered electors of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City has solicited applicants to serve on such Charter Review Committee,
and the Council Governance Committee has interviewed the applicants and recommended certain
applicants for appointment by the Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the Charter Review Committee should be
composed of the members named below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That the Charter Review Committee shall consist of nine (9) registered electors
of the City of Fort Collins appointed by the City Council, with terms to run until the work of-the
Committee concludes.
Section 2. That the following named persons be, and hereby are, appointed as members of
the Charter Review Committee for terms to run until the work of the committee concludes:
Will Arduino Susan Kirkpatrick
Betty Brown Brad Page
Mary E. Carlson Barbara Rutstein
Ward Fischer Jack W. Steele
John J. Haggerty III
