OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1
TO THE GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES
FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATPDN FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE AIRPORT RESCUE FIRE FIGHTING STATION
AT THE FORT COLLINS-LOVELAND AIRPORT.
WHEREAS, the Cities of Loveland and Fort Collins, Colorado ("Cities")
jointly own and operate the Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport ("Airport") ;
and
WHEREAS, the Cities have previously entered into a Grant Agreement with the
United States Federal Aviation Administration for the construction of the airport
rescue fire fighting station at the Airport; and
WHEREAS, the FFA has offered an additional $24,311 in grant funds for the
construction of an access road from the fire station ramp to the airport
operations area ramp, upon the condition that Cities provide a 10% match in
funding.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS,
COLORADO, that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into Amendment
No. 1 to the Grant Agreement previously approved by Resolution 92-124, adopted
by City Council on August 4, 1992, which Amendment increases the obligation of
the United States under the grant from $353,200 to $377,511 for the purpose of
aiding in the funding of the construction of an access road from the airport fire
station ramp to the airport operations area ramp.
