HomeMy WebLinkAbout1993-018-02/02/1993-ASSOCIATED STUDENTS CSU COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY STATE BOARD OF AGRICULTURE TRANSIT SERVICES RESOLUTION 93- 18 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE BOARD OF AGRICULTURE BY AND THROUGH THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH OF THE ASSOCIATED STUDENTS OF COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING TRANSIT SERVICES WHEREAS, the City has traditionally provided transit services to the students of Colorado State University; and WHEREAS, the City has developed a continuing financial relationship with the Associated Students of Colorado State University to pay for these services with student fees; and WHEREAS, the City intends to provide future transit services for the benefit of Colorado State University students and the general public; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has found that it is in the best interest of the citizens of Fort Collins to enter into an agreement with the Associated Students of Colorado State University concerning the provision of transit services and the payment for these services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into an agreement with the State Board of Agriculture by and through the Executive Branch of the Associated Students of Colorado State University, for the purpose of providing transit services from August 24, 1992, through August 23, 1993. The terms of the agreement shall include the following provisions: 1 . The City shall provide transit services from August 24, 1992, through August 23, 1993. 2. The Associated Students of Colorado State University shall contribute to the City the sum of Nine Dollars and Forty-four Cents ($9.44) per semester for each full -time, fee-paying student. In addition, the Office of International Training Programs shall contribute Nine Dollars and Forty-four Cents ($9.44) per student per semester for international students enrolled in their program. Students enrolled in the summer semester shall pay Seventy Cents ($ .70) per credit hour up to a total of Six Dollars and Thirty Cents ($6.30) 3. The City shall not reduce service levels below service levels in effect on January 27, 1992.
