OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
REAPPOINTING GORDON F. ESPLIN AND JOHN J. TOBIN
AS TEMPORARY JUDGES AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENTS
WHEREAS, Article VII of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins allows the
Council to designate a Temporary Judge to serve in the absence of the Municipal
Judge; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that it is necessary to appoint two
persons to serve, in the alternative, as Temporary Judges in the absence of the
Municipal Judge; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to reappoint Gordon F. Esplin and retired
Municipal Judge John J. Tobin to serve as Temporary Judges at the discretion of
Municipal Judge Kathleen Allin.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1. That Gordon F. Esplin and retired Municipal Judge John J. Tobin
be and hereby are appointed Temporary Judges, to serve as deemed necessary by
Municipal Judge Kathleen Allin for terms beginning July 1, 1993, and ending June
30, 1995.
Section 2. That the compensation to be paid by the City to said Temporary
Judges shall be at the rate of Fifty Dollars ($50) per hour.
Section 3. That the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to enter into
Employment Agreements between the City and Gordon F. Esplin and John J. Tobin,
respectively, to effectuate the purposes of this Resolution.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Counc' f the Cit ,Fort
Collins held this 1st day of June, A.D. 1993.
