OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO ENTER INTO
A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
BONDI & CO. , CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS
FOR AUDITING SERVICES FOR 1993, WITH ANNUALLY RENEWABLE
TERMS FOR 1993 THROUGH 1997
WHEREAS, Article II, Section 17, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins
provides that Council shall provide for an independent annual audit by a
certified public accountant of all books and accounts of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent solicited proposals for the required audit
from area accounting firms and received 9 proposals; and
WHEREAS, the proposals were reviewed by City staff and members of the
Finance Committee and interviews of the top-ranked firms were conducted; and
WHEREAS, Bondi & Co. has been determined to be -the firm best suited to
provide auditing services to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the Purchasing Agent be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into a
professional services agreement with Bondi & Co. for auditing services for 1993
with annually renewable terms at the option of the City for 1994 through 1997,
for a fee not to exceed Forty Thousand Twenty Dollars ($40,020) for 1993; Forty-
two Thousand Dollars (E42,000) for 1994; Forty-four Thousand Dollars (E44,000)
for 1995; Forty-six Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($46,200) for 1996; and Forty-
eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($48,500) for 1997.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held his 1th
day of September, A.D. 1993. J
