OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING THE NORTH FRONT RANGE TRANSPORTATION DEMAND
MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS,the various members of the North Front Range Transportation and Air Quality
Planning Council have worked together to develop the North Front Range Transportation Demand
Management Program (the"TDM Program"); and
WHEREAS, the primary goal of the TDM Program is to design and implement a
transportation plan that can achieve a ten percent (10%) reduction in single occupant vehicle trips
by 2015 as specified in the Regional Transportation Plan for the North Front Range; and
WHEREAS, the TDM Program has been recommended to the Council by the North Front
Range Transportation and Air Quality Planning Council and is a collective effort of the cities and
counties of the North Front Range and the Colorado Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that it is in the best interests of the citizens of the
City that the TDM Program be approved by the City and presented to the North Front Range
Transportation and Air Quality Planning Council for final adoption.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that the North Front Range Transportation Demand Management Program, a copy of
which on file at the office of the City Clerk, is hereby approved pending final adoption of the same
by the North Front Range Transportation and Air Quality Planning Council.
