OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO VARIOUS BOARDS
AND COMMISSIONS OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on various boards and commissions of the City due to
resignations from board members; and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Housing Authority (Community Advisor
position) due to the vacancy created by Jeff Taylor's appointment from Community Advisor to a
voting member of the Housing Authority; and
WHEREAS, A vacancy currently exists on the Library Board due to the resignation of Joanne
Monath; and
WHEREAS,A vacancy will exist on the Landmark Preservation Commission on December
31 due to the resignation of Diana Ross; and
WHEREAS,A vacancy will also exist on the Senior Advisory Board on December 31 due to
the resignation of Jill Taylor; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make appointments to fill the vacancies which exist
on the various boards and commissions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that:
Section 1. The following named persons be, and they hereby are, appointed as members of
the boards and commissions hereinafter indicated,with terms to begin immediately and to expire as
set forth after each name:
NAME OF BOARD: Housing Authority
Name Expiration of Term
Sister Maw Garcia (Community Advisor) June 30, 1999
NAME OF BOARD: Library Board
Name Expiration of Term
Edward Jakubauskas June 30, 2001
Section 2. The following named person be, and hereby is, appointed as a member of the
boards and commission hereinafter indicated, with a term to begin January 1, 1998 and to expire as
set forth as stated below:
