OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION 97-65
AS IT RELATES TO APPOINTMENTS TO THE
POUDRE FIRE AUTHORITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, on May 6, 1997,the City Council adopted Resolution 97-65 making board and
commission liaison assignments and committee appointments; and
WHEREAS, a portion of Section 3 of Resolution 97-65 provided for the appointment of
Councilmembers Chuck Wanner and Mike Byrne to the Poudre Fire Authority Board of Directors
("PFA Board"); and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Bill Bertschy has expressed an interest in serving on the PFA
Board and Councilmember Byrne has agreed to relinquish his appointment to Councilmember
Bertschy; and
WHEREAS, the Council believes it would be in the best interests of the City to revise its
appointments to the PFA Board of Directors accordingly.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the portion of Section 3 of Resolution 97-65 relating to the Poudre Fire Authority
Board of Directors, is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the name of Mike Byrne and
substituting therefor the name of Bill Bertschy. In all other respects, Resolution 97-65 shall remain
in full force and effect.
