OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPOINTING A NEW CITY REPRESENTATIVE TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
NORTHERN COLORADO COMMUNITY HOUSING CORPORATION d/b/a FUNDING
PARTNERS FOR HOUSING SOLUTIONS
WHEREAS,the Northern Colorado Community Housing Corporation d/b/a Funding Partners
for Housing Solutions("Funding Partners") is a Colorado non-profit corporation organized for the
purpose of promoting and developing affordable housing in the Fort Collins and Loveland areas;and
WHEREAS,according to the bylaws of Funding Partners,as amended,the Board of Trustees
of Funding Partners includes a person selected by the City Council of the City of Fort Collins,which
person is to serve a one year term; and
WHEREAS, on February 20, 1996,the City Council appointed Gina C. Janett to serve as the
City representative on the Board of Trustees, which appointment was to take effect at such time as
Funding Partners amended its Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws in the manner prescribed in
Resolution 96-24; and
WHEREAS,the above-referenced amendments to said Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation
were approved by the Board of Trustees of Funding Partners on or about March 15, 1996, so that Ms.
Janett's term of service on the Board of Trustees expired on or about April 22, 1997; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Janett is no longer a member of the Fort Collins City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to appoint a current Councilmember to serve as the
City's representative to said Board of Trustees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that Will Smith is hereby appointed by the City Council to serve as the Council's
appointee to the Board of Trustees of the Northern Colorado Community Housing Corporation d/b/a
Funding Partners for Housing Solutions until one year from the effective date of this Resolution or
such sooner date as the City Council may appoint a different representative to said Board.
