OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
STATING THE INTENT OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
TO ANNEX CERTAIN PROPERTY AND INITIATINGANNEXATION
PROCEEDINGS FOR SUCH PROPERTY TO BE KNOWN AS THE K-2 ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described has, for a period of not less than three (3)
years prior to this date,been completely contained within the boundaries of the City of Fort Collins;
and
WHEREAS,the Council desires to initiate annexation proceedings in accordance with State
law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That,the Council of the City of Fort Collins intends to annex the following
described property, to be known as the K-2 Annexation, situate in the County of Larimer, State of
Colorado, to wit:
A Tract of Land Situate in The Southwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 7 North,
Range 69 West of The 6th P.m., County of Larimer, State of Colorado, Which
Considering The West Line of The Southwest Quarter of Said Section 3 as Bearing
N00°05'15"E and With All Bearings Contained Herein Relative Thereto Is Contained
Within The Boundary Lines Which Begin at The West Quarter Corner of Said
Section 3 And Runs Thence S89°55'35"E - 33.30 Feet to The True Point of
Be ig nnina,Said Point Also Being a Point of the Boundary of the Buckeye Farms Inc.
And Harold D. Einarsen Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Thence Along Said
Annexation S89055'35"E- 796.12 Feet, Thence S15031'06"E - 318.00 Feet Thence
S63036'06"E- 340.00 Feet to a Point on the Front Range Farms Ii Annexation to the
City of Fort Collins, Thence Along Said Annexation S00°2100"W - 868.97 Feet,
Thence N89039'00"W - 699.97 Feet, Thence N00021'00"W - 300.00 Feet, Thence
N89035'00"W-480.67 Feet to a Point on the Highway 1-25 First Annexation to the
City of Fort Collins, Thence along Said Annexation N00°21'00"E - 503.39 Feet,
Thence N00°02'00"W - 517.40 Feet to the Point of Beginning.
Containing 29.6778 Acres.
Section 2. That the Council hereby initiates annexation proceedings for the above-
described property.
Section 3. That the Notice attached hereto be adopted as a part of this Resolution. Said
Notice establishes the date, time and place when the Council will consider the passage of an
annexation ordinance pertaining to the above described property. The City Clerk is directed to
publish a copy of this Resolution and said Notice as provided in C.R.S. Section 31-12-108(2).
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort i held this
20th day of May, A.D. 1997.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Fort Collins has adopted a
Resolution initiating annexation proceedings for the K-2 Annexation, said Annexation being more
particularly described in said Resolution, a copy of which precedes this Notice.
That, on July 1, 1997, at the hour of 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may come
on for hearing in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, 300 LaPorte Avenue, Fort Collins,
Colorado, the Fort Collins City Council will consider the passage of an annexation ordinance
concerning the subject property.
The City of Fort Collins will make reasonable accommodations for access to City services,
programs and activities and will make special communication arrangements for persons with
