OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
STATING THE INTENT OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
TO ANNEX CERTAIN PROPERTY AND INITIATING
ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS FOR SUCH PROPERTY TO BE KNOWN AS
THE WEST DRAKE ROAD 2ND ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described has, for a period of not less than three (3)
years prior to this date, been completely contained within the boundaries of the City of Fort Collins;
and
WHEREAS,the Council desires to initiate annexation proceedings in accordance with State
law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That,the Council of the City of Fort Collins intends to annex the following
described property, to be known as the West Drake Road 2nd Annexation, situate in the County of
Larimer, State of Colorado, to wit:
A Tract of Land Situate in The Northwest Quarter of Section 28, Township 7 North,
Range 69 West of The 6th P.M., County of Larimer, State of Colorado, Considering
The North Line of The Northwest Quarter of Said Section 28 as Bearing
N88024'58"E With All Bearings Contained Herein Relative Thereto Is Contained
Within The Boundary Lines Which Begin at The Northwest Corner of Said Section
28 And Run Thence N88°24'58"E - 2144.62 Feet to The True Point of Beginning,
Said Point Being The Northeasterly Corner of The Karl Peterson Annexation,
Thence; S00°18'02"E - 500.13 Feet, on and along the Easterly Line of Said Karl
Peterson Annexation to a Point of Intersection With The Manion Annexation,
Thence; N88°24'58"E - 200.00 Feet, on And Along Said Line of The Manion
Annexation to an Angle Point, Thence;N00°18'02"W - 500.13 Feet on And Along
The Northwesterly Line of Said Manion Annexation to an Intersecting Point With
The Herring Annexation, Thence; S88°24'58"W - 200.00 Feet on And Along The
Southerly Line of Said Herring Annexation to The True Point of Beginning;
Containing 2.2957 Acres More or less.
Section 2. That the Council hereby initiates annexation proceedings for the above-
described property.
Section 3. That the Notice attached hereto be adopted as a part of this Resolution. Said
Notice establishes the date, time and place when the Council will consider the passage of an
annexation ordinance pertaining to the above described property. The City Clerk is directed to
publish a copy of this Resolution and said Notice as provided in C.R.S. Section 31-12-108(2).
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins held this
20th day of May, A.D. 1997. f

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Fort Collins has adopted a
Resolution initiating annexation proceedings for the West Drake Road 2nd Annexation, said
Annexation being more particularly described in said Resolution, a copy of which precedes this
Notice.
That, on July 1, 1997, at the hour of 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may come
on for hearing in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, 300 LaPorte Avenue, Fort Collins,
Colorado, the Fort Collins City Council will consider the passage of an annexation ordinance
concerning the subject property.
The City of Fort Collins will make reasonable accommodations for access to City services,
programs and activities and will make special communication arrangements for persons with
