OF THE COUNCIL OP TILE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING T11E AIR QUALITY ACTION PLAN UPDATE FOR 1996-1998
WHEREAS, oil March 16, 1993, the Council of the City of FOIL Collies adopted Resolution
93-45, whereby the Air Quality Policy Plan was approved for incorporation into the City's
Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, on March 15, 1994, the Council adopted ReSOln6611 94-47 approving the Air
Quality Action Plan which contained strategies to achieve the air qualily objectives contained in the
Air Quality Policy Plan; and
WHEREAS, the staff and the Air Quality Advisory Board have prepared and presented to
the Council lot-consideration au update of the Air Quality Action Plan which contains strategies for
the years 1996 - 1998 to meet the objectives of the Air Quality Policy Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the Air Quality Action Plan Update at its study
session on March 12, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the proposed Air Quality Action Plan
Update is in the best interests of the citizens of the City and should be approved by the Council for
implementation by stall.
NOW,TIIEREFORL, BE IT RESOLVED BY TI IE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that the Air Quality Action Plan Update lot 1996 - 1998, on file in the oll ice of the City
Clerk, Mud incorporated herein by this reference, be, and hcieby is, approved by the Council for
implementation.
