OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THE COLORADO HIGHWAY
PATROL OFFICE AND RELATED IMPROVEMENTS
NEEDED FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
TIMBERLINE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS,the City's Timberline Road Improvement Project will impair and in part prevent
the use by the Colorado State Highway Patrol("CSP")of its office and related improvements located
at 2412 East Mulberry Street, in Fort Collins (the "CSP Improvements"); and
WHEREAS,as a result, City staff believes that it is in the City's best interest to purchase the
CSP Improvements and cooperate with CSP in relocating its office facilities; and
WHEREAS, CSP has agreed to convey to the City the CSP Improvements for the amount
of$77,280; and
WHEREAS, the funds for such purchase have been budgeted and appropriated in the
Timberline Road Improvement Project capital account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS,that the City Manager be and hereby is authorized to purchase from the Colorado State
Highway Patrol the improvements located at 2412 East Mulberry Street, for the total amount of
$77.280.00.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this 7th day of October,
