OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE STATE BOARD OF AGRICULTURE, BY AND THROUGH
THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH OF THE ASSOCIATED STUDENTS OF
COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING
TRANSIT SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City has traditionally provided transit services to the
students of Colorado State University; and
WHEREAS, the City has developed a continuing financial relationship with
the Associated Students of Colorado State University; and
WHEREAS, the City intends to focus future transit services for the benefit
of the Colorado State University students and the general public; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has found that it is in
the best interest of the citizens of Fort Collins to enter into a financial
agreement with the Associated Students of Colorado State University.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the Mayor be, and she hereby is, authorized to enter into an agreement with
the State Board of Agriculture, by and through the Executive Branch of the
Associated Students of Colorado State University, for the purpose of providing
transit services from January 20, 1991, through January 19, 1992. The terms of
the agreement shall include the following provisions:
1. The City shall provide transit services from January 20, 1991,
through January 19, 1992.
2. The Associated Students of Colorado State University shall contribute
to the City the sum of Three and 60/100 Dollars ($3.60) per semester
for each full -time, fee-paying student. In addition, the Office
of International Training Programs (OTIP) shall contribute Three
and 60/100 Dollars ($3.60) per student per semester for international
students enrolled in their program.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this 15th
day of January, A.D. , 1991.
