BE IT O°DAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOPT COLLINS that Section
118-44 of the Code of the City of Fcrt Col iins be, and it hereby is,
amended by the addition thereto of a subsection "J" to read as fol Ws
"J Conversions from Residential to Non-Residential
Uses Tne conversion from a residential land use
to one or more of the uses perr^itted in Section
118-44 A (9-17) inclusive, shall require the
aporovdl of the Cit3 Council following a recommen-
dation from the Planning and Zoning Board The
Planning and Zoning Board shall hold a public
hearing concerning the proposed conversion
prior to makinq its recommendation The recuri-
mendatoon will be based on the administrative
guidelines for use conversions Following demoli-
tion of a residential use, the subsequent con-
struction of any non-residential use on the same
oroperty shall be deened a conversion requirinc,
City Council approval pursrant to this Section "
