A petition having been presented to the City Council for the
construction of a stone sidewalk on the north side of Olive' street , 4
between College and 'Whitcomb Avenue, and signed by a Majority of the
owners of frontage upon said street between the points above named.
3e it ordained by the City Council of the City of Fort
Collins.
Section I That a stone sidewalk shall be constructed on Olive street
as follows. Commencing at the southeast corner of block No. II2, where
said Olive street intersects with College Avenue, thence running west
in front of the
blocks on the north side of said Olive street to the
southwest corner of block No. 72 where said Olive street intersects
with 'Whitcomb Avenue.
Said sidewalk to be constructed by the owners of the lots or
lands abutting upon the same at their own expense with in thirty (30)
day:, from the time at which this ordinance shall take effect , and there
by be releived from any assessments that may be made for the constru-
ction there of by the City, provided that the work so to be done shall

to sidewalks passed and adopted November I7, 1334.
Section 2 That if the sidewalk mentioned in section one (i) of this
ordinance shall not be constructed by the owners of the lots or lands
abutting upon the sane within the time mentioned in said section one
(I),bhen said sidewalk shall be constructed by the City under and in
persuanee of the provissions of ordinance No. I9 I334 concerning hhe
assessments of specia:. charges upon the owners of lots or lands with
in the corporate limits of the City/ of Fort Collins, passed and adopted
