Collins -
Section I, That the City Sewer be extended by laying a sewer pipe
r line as follows to wit - ConmencinL, at the main sever on Mauntain
avenue, at the intersection of said Mountain avenue and Howes street
thence runninj south along the center of said Howes street with a IO
inch sever pipe to the center of Maenolia street and an S inch sewer
pipe from the center of said '[agnolia strec,t, alonj the said center of
Howes street to the center of 11yrtIt- str(rot , and a 6 inch sewer pipe
from the center of said 4yrtle strut along, the said center of IIowes
street to the south .vest corner of
has been assessed as a benefit to the public it general shall be paid
for by the city itith warrants drain upoi the, general fund, sewer appro-
priation
Section 4 The cost of said sewer extension ano tI-e expense incident
theteto, except as provided for it section 3 of this ordinance, shall be
assessed pro-rPta agairst the lots and blocks onnosite to and abutting
upon said sever extension in proportion to the frontage of said lots
and blocks abutting upon uhe same accords g to and under the provisio

assessments and collection of special char[,es, passed and adopted Sept
I3th I364, and the amount of such assessment shall be paid in the first
instance by warrants of the city dra,vn upon a fund which is hereby
created to be kno,vn and designated as ' Sewer District Number Nine'Fund'
and all ^coney derived and collected from thG assessments 'herein before
provided for shall be applied to thc, maintenance of said Sever Distr-Ltr
Number Nine wund, and to the redemption of the warrants drawn upon said
fund, and for no other purpose whatever
