Public notice is hereby given that the followin7 ordinance was
introduced, read and ordered printed at a regular meleting of the City
Council of the City of Fort Collins , held September 21, 1903.

Relating to Warrants in anticipation of Water Works Extension J
Fund.
Whereas a proposed ordinanet,as passed, its first reading by the
City Council of the City of Fort Collins , calling for an election upon
the. question of enlarrrin7 the water works system of said City , and
Whereas the: issuance: of bonds to cover the expense of enlarginr;
said system has been delayed by the.: necessity of holding said election
in the manner advised by the purchasers of said bonds, and
Whereas the: voters of the City of Fort Collins have at a special
election already approved of the enlarnement of said water works sys-
tat, and
Whereas, for the purpose of cornaencin- the enlarafnent of said
system without further delay it is deemed: advisable to negotiate for
an advance fund of t20,OOO. in anticipation of said bond issue, now
therefore,
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Fort Collins,
Section 1. i7,at the proper officers of this city be and they are
hereby authorized to issue warrants upon the Hind to be created, by
said bond issue, to the amount of $20,000, in payment for construction
work upon the, enlar-ement of said water works system, as claims for
the same may be duly allowed by the: Finance Committee or the City
Council.
llie foregoing ordinance was introduced and ready at a regular
meeting of the. City Council~ of the City of Fort Coilins, Colorado, on
the 21st day of Sentemb- 9r , 1903, ani was published in the Fort Collins
on the 2 3ryq day of September , 1903, and was duly passed and
ad pted by the said City Council at the remilar meeting held on the
/yea lay of October, 1903.
