ORDINANCE NO. L 1802.
Relating to Sewers .
A petition having been presented to the City Council for the
construction of a sewer District and construction of a sewer in
blocks 115-11B-125-126-127 and 128 which sail petition has been
signed by the owners of the major part of the nronerty abutting on
said proposed sewer, Therefore;
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Port Collins :
Section 1. That sewer be constructed by laying a sewer pipe
line commencing in the alley 50 feet south of the north line of
block 125, thence running south through blocks 125-126-127 and 128
to a point intersecting the Locust street sewer being a distance of
2-/s
AMNA feet ; also beginning in the alley 50 feet south of the north
line of block 115 running thence south through blocks 115 and 116
to the center of Laurel street , thence east on center t ine of Laurel
street to the point of intersection It the line of $ewer above d//es-
cribei, being a distance of 1630 feet. Said sewer pipe to be 0'
Inches in diameter; manholes and Tees to be placed therein at such
points as the Committee having the same in charge shall deem neeessav
Section 2. That said sewer shall be known as Sewer Distriot
No. _ //
Section A. That the cost of construct ion of said sever ex-
tension: at End upon the st-ect intersections and the amount which
shall have been assessed to the public general shall be paid for by
the City Tit,h warrants drawn upon the general Sand Sewer Appro-
priation.
Section 4. The cost of said sewer extension and the expense
incident thereto shall be assessed, except as provided in section

and opposite to said sewer in proportion: to the frontage of said

assessments and special charges , passed and ad-)pted September 15 ,
1884; provide(l, that the amo,int of such assessment shall be paid in
the first instance by warrants drawn upon a fund which is here.1)y
created to be known and designated as Sewer District No / / fund;
and all money derived and collected from the assessments herein-
before provided for shall be nnplied to the maintenance of said
Sewer District No. fund, and to the redemption of the rar-
wants drawn upon said fund. and for no other purpose whatsoever.
