7 The Carrying or Use of Sling Shots,
HE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Fort Collins, Colorado:-
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any per-
son or persons within the city limits of the City
of Fort Collins to carry, use, or have in his,
her, or their possession any sling shot or other
device by which to throw stones, clods, metal or
other hard substance.
Sec, 2, It shall be Jarful for any resident
of Fort Collins, finding any person within the cor-
porate limits of. said City with such sling shot or
other like device in his possession, to take the
same from such person and deliver it to the City
Marshall or other public officer, aiid such publi.e
officer shall thereupon immediately cause the ar-
rest of such offender.

Sec. 3. Anyone violating any of the provi-
sions of ti:is ordinance, shall, upon conviction
thereof, be fined for each offense in the sum of
not less thf�n Three Dollars ( P3.00 ) rior more than
One Hundred Dollars ( $100.00 ) and in default of
payment thereof shall be imprisoned in the city or
county Jail until s-- ch fine and costs are paid,
nrovid-d the Court may limit such imprisonment to
not less than one day nor more than ninety days.
The foregoing ordinance was introduced, and
read at the regular meeting of the City council
of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, held on
the 20th dW of Octaber, A.D. 1902, �and was pub-
