Section 1 of Article 2 and Section 1 of Article 3 and Section 1 of Article 5 of Ordinance Igo 15 of the Series of 1907, entitled "AN ORDINANCE IN Pr LATION TO FOOD AND TFE INSDECTION TPEPEOF" Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Fort Collins SECTIONII That Section 1 of Article 2 of Ordinance No 15 of the Series of 1907 being "An Ordinance in Relation to Food and the In- spection Thereof", be amended 8o as to read as follows Section 1, No person shall sell or offer for sale, or cause to be sold or kept for sale, any milk, cream or buttermilk for human food at any grocery store or other place or peddle or deliver the same, either in wagons or other vehicles or otherwise in this city, without first having obtained a license for each store or other place, where such milk or cream is sold or offered for sale, and for each wagon or vehicle driven or used for such purpose, and no person shall ship or bring into this city bed freight, express or otherwise any milk or cream without having a license so to do Any person de- siring such license shall male application in writing therefor to the city clerk Such application shall be made upon a printed form to be furnished by the committee on health, and such applicant, if an individual, shall state the full name and residence, and if a corpo- ration, shall state the full name and residence of each of its offiwar cers Such application shall also state the location of the place at which it is desired to carry on such business It shall also contain a description of each wagon or other vehicle to be used by the appli- cant in his business, also the number of cows owned or controlled by the applicant Upon such application being filed with the city clerkr the Food Inspector shall investigate the place of business described in such application and the wagons and other vehicles intended to be used by said applicant The Food Inspector shall report the re- sult of such investigation to the city clerk, and if such place of business and such wagons or vehicles are found by said Food Inspect- or to be in a sanitary condition and fit for the uses to which they are intended to be put the city clerk may thereupon issue a license to such applicant upon the payment as fee for such license, for each wagon used in delivery $4 00, for each store or other place where milk or cream or either of them is sold, if from one cow $ 50 If from two cows $1 00, from more than two cows, $2 00, for each person who shall ship or bring milk or cream or either of them into the city $2 00 Such license shall not be transferable and shall authorize the licensee to carry on his business only at the place of places described in such license All licenses issued under this section shall expire on the 30th day of June next after the issue thereof SECTION II That Section 1 of Article 3 of said Ordinance is hereby amended to read as follows Section ] Every person desiring to engage in the busi- ness of selling ice within the city shall, before engaging in such business, file a written application with the city clerk for a li- cense therefor stating in such application the name of the applicant whether the ice is manufactured and if not, where the same is to be or has been cut or gathered and the number of wagons or vehicles in- tended to be used by said applicant for the delivery thereof Upon f rj b so doing and the payment of a fee of\ $i-&ree for each wagon or other vehicle intended to be used by such applicant for the delivery mf ice, a license may be granted to such applicant All licenses grant- edunder this Section shall unless sooner suspended or revoked, ex- pire on the 30th dau of June next after the issue thereof SECTION III That Section 1 of Article 5 of said Ordinance be and the same hereby is amended so as to read as follows Section 1 Every person desiring to engage in the busi- ness of selling meats, poultry, fish, butter, cheese lard, vege- tables, flour, meal, or any other provisions intended for human con- sumption, shall before engaging in such business file a written application with the city clerk for a license therefor, stating the name of the applicant and the place where such business is to be carried on A license shall be granted to such applicant upon pay- ment of a fee therefor as follows First, for butchers and all 00 persons engaged in the selling of fresh meats se., Second for grocers, including all persons engaged in the business of selling Or a general provisions other than fresh meats �� For persons sell- ing provisions,other than grocers and meat sellers, $5 00 All li- censes granted under this section shall unless sooner suspended or revoked, expire on the 30th day of June next after the issue thereof SECTION IV All licenses heretofore issued under the provisions of the aforesaid Ordinance are hereby continued and shall remain in full force and effect until the 30th day of June 1908 ' "4 Q �It f� Passed and adopted, signed and
