HomeMy WebLinkAbout001 - 02/21/1910 - AMENDING SECTIONS 3 AND 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 005, 1890 RELATING TO THE LICENSE OF BILLIARD TABLES, SHO OFDINAhCE NO 1 Series of 1910 An Ordinance Pmending Sections 3 and 4 of Ordinance No 5 of 1890 entitled Relating to the License of Billiard Tables Shooting Galleries, Etc be it oraaincd by the City Council o. the City of Fort Collins that Sections 3 and 4 of Ordinance No 5 of the series of 1890 entitled, "Relating to the License of Billiard Tables, Shooting Galleries Etc , " be amended so as to read as follows Sec 3 Any license issued or grantea under tha provisions of this ordinance may be revoked by the City Council whenever it shell be made to aP2eir to the City Council that the person or persons to vhom such license was issued, his or their agent or employes has directly or indirectly violated any of the con- ditionsrof his bond, or any of the provisions of this ordinance or any ordinance- of this city relating to the sale of in- toxicating liquors Bo license shall be issued hereunder to any person or persons who are holders of licenses issued by the United Ctates or by the bt�te of Color-do for the sale of intoxicating liquors in thu City of ^ort Collins and the possession of any such licenses fcr the stle of liquors shall at once revoke any license issued under the provisions hereof and render the s me null and void Sec 4 It shall be unlawful or any person or persons who shall have been grantea a license under the provisions of this ordinance, his or their alerk� agent or employe, to permit any games for money or other valuable thing to be played upon the tables, alleys or galleries mentioned in Section one of this ordinance, or to permit any gaming by means of cards dice or 1 1 other device for playing of gemes of chance, or skill and chance, within or aoout the establishment where such tables, alleys or galleries are kept, or to permit any minors or women of ill-repute or lewd women to play upom any of said tables or alleys or to shoot in such galleries, or to loiter about or fregnent the room or place where such table alleys or galleries are kept or to keep ooen, or permit any person or persons to enter the room or place where such table alleys or galleries are kept, between the hours of 12 O 'clock p m and 5 o 'clock a m of the succeeding diy, (or from 11 30 o 'clock p m Saturday to 5 o clock a m of the succeeding f+onday, ) or to permit any playing upon the said t-bles or alleys, or shooting in such Lilleries, between the hours of 12 o 'clock p m and 5 o' clock a m of the succeeding day, (or from 11 30 o'clock p m Saturday to 5 o clock a m of the succeeding Monday Passed and adopted, signed and ap,)roved this 21st day of February , A D 1910 Myron H Akin flayor ttest /s/ Robt Fedder City Clerk
