ORDINANCE NO OF THE SERIES OF 1910
An Ordinance to Amend Section 7 of Ordinance No 13 of 1905, entitled,
'An Ordinance in Relation to Public Health " Passed and adopted October 16 1905
BE IT ORDAINED By the City Council of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado
that ordinance No 13 of 1905 entitled "An Ordinance in Relation to Public
Health passed and adopted October 16, 1905 be amended by adding to Section 7
of said ordinance Sub-sections A and B as follows
Section 7, Sub-division A The phrase, contagious disease, as used in
this ordinance shall be held to include any disease of any infectious,
contagious of pestilential nature with which any person may be sick affected
or attacked (more especially however, referring to cholera Mellow fever
small pox diphtheria, typhus, typhoid and soarlet fevers, whooping cough
measles and chiokbn pox) and also including any new diseases of an infectious,
contagious or pestilential nature and also any other diseases publicly
declared by the State Board of Health of Colorado to be dangerous to the
public health
Section 7, Sub-division B In case of the existence of any contagious
diseases as hereinabove defined or in case any householder believes or
suspects the existence of any such contagious diseases in his home it shall
be the duty of such householder provided he has not in attendance his own
physician, forthwith to notify. the City Physician of the facts Any person or
persona:7faiiing to comply with or violating any of the provisions of this section
shall be fined not exceeding $100 nor less than $20
