HomeMy WebLinkAbout014 - 12/27/1915 - RELATING TO THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1916, AND ENDING DECE ORDINANCE NO 1915 RELATING TO THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YtiT.AR BE- GINNING JANUARY 1, 1916, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1916, AND FIXING THE LEVIES FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS Section 1 That there be and is hereby appropriated out of the revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1916, and ending December 31 , 1916 , the sum of One Hundred Twelve Thousand, Two Hundred Sixty-eight and 88/100 ($1121,268 88) Dollars, to be raised by taxation and otherwise, which said sum is hereby divided and appropriated for the following purposes, to-wit For Fire Department $5,000 00 For Fire Truck 1, .0855 00 For General Government �, ✓ .34d0 For Grand View Cemetery ,000 00 For Maintenance Public Library 3,101 59 ✓ For Maintenance Electric and gas Lights 9,000 00 For Maintenance Public Parks 3,843 26 ✓ For Park Bond Interest 1,146 24 ✓ For Park Bond Sinking Fund 2,022 77 ✓ For Permanent Streets 121000 00 For Perpetual Care Lots, maintenance 600 00 For Police Department 4,800 00 ✓ For Public Entertainment 600 .00 For Public Grounds and Building 1,500 00 For Public Health 1,900 00 '� For Publicity as provided by Charter 600 00 .' For Sewers and Drains 300 00 p G For Streets and Alleys ,000 0 Total 470, 268 88 And the revenue derived from water rentals for said 1" fiscal year is divided and appropriated as follows, and no portion of the revenue to be so derived shall be appropriated to any other fund -1- Interest on Water Bonds 4,29155-00 '� Water Bonds Sinking Fund , 1st Series 5,833 34 Water Bonds Sinking Fund, 2d Series 59000 00 Water Works Emergency Fund 50000.00 Water Works,. Salaries and Maintenance 14 011 66 ✓ Total ,000.00 The Balance, if any, of revenue from Water Rentals, shall be applied toward the redemption of the First Series of Water Bonds of said city Section 2 That for the purpose of providing the necessary funds for meeting the appropriations set forth in Section 1 of this Ordinance, the following levies be and are hereby made upon each dollar of the assessed valuation of all taxable property within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins, the same being the amount necessary to provide for the payment of the foregoing appropriations and to meet the payment thereof during the fiscal , year ending December 31, 1916 , of all properly authorized demands upon the City Treasurer, to-wit For General Expense Six (6) Mills For Bibrary Forty-six (46) Hundredths pulls For Parks Fifty-seven (57) Hundredths Mills For Park Bond Interest Seventeen (17) Hundredths Mills For Park Bond Sinking Fund Thirty (30) Hundredths Mills being a total of Seven and Fifty (7 50 ) Hundredths Mills which levies shall be certified to the Board of County Com- mssioners by the Commissioner of Safety and Ex-Officio Mayor ana City Clerk as provided by law Passed and adopted this `day ofOI► x, A.A.
