WHEREAS, The o,mers of Lot Twenty (20) ,
in Block Eleven (11) , in the Cizj of Fort Collins, have
petitiioned the City Council to vacate a portion of
Chestnut Street abutting on Lot Twenty (20) , in Block
Eleven (11) , in the City of Fort Collins, tnerefore
BE IT ORDAIJED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TriE CITY OF FORT

Section 1 That portion of Chestnut Stireet
abutting o', Lot Twenty (20) , in Block Eleven (11) in the
City of Fort Collins and desc.Libed by metes and bounas as
follows, town Beginning at the West corner of saza
Block Eleven (11) , thence East along the north property
line of laountain Avenue 32 37 feet, thence North at right
angles to the north property line of Mountain Avenue 37
feet to Vie southeast property line of Chestnu' Street,
thence soatbwesterly alon(; the southeast property line of
Chestnut Street 49 16 feet to point of oeginning, is here.)y
vacated upon the express condition that no claim for eaui-
table adjustment willte- considered or allov°ea in the event
of any special improvement taxes hereafter assessed against
said vacated wract

Section 2 In the opinion of the
City Council an emergency e4ists for the preserva-
tion of tie public healtr, peace and safety, and
this ordinaace shall Lake effect upon its passage
and puclication, unler and by virtue of the autnority
contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the
City Charter
