BEING All EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RELATING TO ALL PUBLIC PARKS
OF THE' CITY OF FORT COLLINS, AND THE REGULATIONS DULY ADOPTED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL RESPECTIaG THE SAME, AS WELL AS THE RE-
GULATIONS RESPECTING GRANDVIEW CEMETERY, AND PROVIDING PENAL-
TIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. It shall be lawful for the City
Council of the City of Fort Collins to adopt regulations for
the government and control of the general public in the use
and enjoyment of the public parks of said City, and also res-
pecting the management and use of Grandview Cemetery, and all
such regulations now in force or as shall be hereafter adopted
by the City Council shall have the force and effect of an ordi-
nance covering; said subjects.
Section 2. Any person who shall violate the
provisions of this ordinance or any of the rules and regula-
tions of the City Council heretofore adopted or adopted here-
after, respecting public parks ana Grandview Cemetery, shall,
upon conviction, be fined in any sum not less than five dollars
nor more than three hunared dollars ana costs of suit , and in
default of payment of such fine and costs, such person may be
imprisoned until such fine and costs are paid, but not to ex-
ceed ninety days for each offense.
Section 6. In the opinion of the City Council
an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety , and this ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage and publication, under and by virtue of the authority
contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV ox the City Charter .
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the
unanimous vote of all the meLibers of the City Council this 14th
day of May, A.D . 1921.

Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordi-
nance , consisting of three (3) sections, was duly proposed and
read at length at a regular meetirgof the City Council held on
the 14th day of lay, A.D. 1921, and was duly adopted and ordered
published in the Fort Collins Courier, a daily newspaper and the
official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous
vote of all members of the Council, as an emergency ordinance,
in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article
sfi
IV of the City Charter; and thereafter , and on, towit : the
day of May, A.U . 1921 , said Ordinance No . // was duly pub-
lished in the Fort Collins Courier, a daily newspaper published
in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado.
