OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ANNEXING APPROXIMATELY FOUR ACRES OF PROPERTY
KNOWN AS THE SPRINGFIELD ANNEXATION NO. 2
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described below has been entirely
contained within the boundaries of the City of Fort Collins for more than
three (3) years prior to this date; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Fort Collins to'
annex said area to the City, as required by the terms of the Inter-
governmental Agreement between the City and Larimer County, Colorado, dated
August 3, 1983; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 86-69 setting forth the intent of the City Council
to annex said area has heretofore been adopted; and
WHEREAS, notice of this annexation has been given pursuant to the
annexation laws of the State of Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That the following described property
SPRINGFIELD ANNEXATION NO. 2
A tract of land situated in the NW 1/4, Section 35, Township 7
North, Range 69 West, of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, State of
Colorado. Considering the West line of the NW 1/4 of said Section-
35 as bearing N 00°00'00" E, and with all bearings contained
herein relative thereto: Commencing at the West 1/4 corner of
Section 35, said point also being the True Point of Beginning;
thence, along said West line N 00°00'00" E, for 312.00 feet to the
most northern point of the tract; thence, leaving said section
line S 89°53'00" E, 558.46 feet; thence, S 00*00100" W, 312.00
feet; thence, N 89°53'00" W, 558.46 feet to the True Point of
Beginning.
The above described tract contains 4.00 + acres.
be, and hereby is, annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of
said City, to be known as the Springfield Annexation No. 2.
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort
Collins, the City of Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting
the construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains, electric service
lines, streets or any other services or utilities in connection with the
territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the
City of Fort Collins.
Section 3. That no building permit shall be issued for any of the
lands herein described unless said lands have been zoned under the zoning
ordinances of the City.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 20th day of May, A.D. 1986, and to be, presented for final
passage on the 3rd day of June, A.D. 1986.
