BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF FIVE
PER CENT REGISTERED TIARRATITS III THE AMOUNT OF $$ov , eoFOR
COLLEGE 4ND MOUNTAIN AVENUE JUNCTION FUND,
MMEAS, Since: the adoption of the annual appropriation
ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31st , 1928, an
emergency and unforeseen contingency has arisen, whereby it has

J rs (0 2500, o C ) for College and Mountain Avenue Junction
of the Municipal Railway system, and the public necessity requires
an additional appropriation of public funds therefor, therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS ,
Section 1. That there be and hereby is appropriated out
of the general revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the years
1929 and 19330, unless taken up prior thereto , the sum of /o
z:&YSdA Aved Y7la)7 d)'Qd (O Arjea Oe) Dollars,, to be used to pay
for College and Mountain Avenue Junction of the Municipal Raillway
system, and which said sum, when this ordinance takes effect,
shall be credited on the books of the City Clerk and the City
Treasurer to College and Aountain Avenue Junction Fund, and registered
five (50) per oent warrants of the City shall be issued to cover
said amount.
Section 2. In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety
and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and
publication under and by virtue of the authority contained in
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter.

vote of all members of the City Council at a regular meeting held
this 7th day of July, A. D. 1928,

do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordinance, con-
sisting of two (2) sections was duly proposed and read at length
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on. the 7th day of
July, A. D. 1928, and was duly adopted and ordered published in the
Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper and the official
newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of
allmembers of the City Council, as an emergency ordinance, in
accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV
of the City Charter , and thereafter and on to-wit the /o "M day
of July, A. D 1928 , said Ordinance No. /6 was duly published in
the Fort Collins Express-Courier , a daily newspaper published in
the City of Fort Collins , Colorado
