BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF FIVE
PER CENT REGISTERED WARRANTS IN THE AMOUNF OF $ 250.00 FOR
COLLEGE AND MOUNTAIN AVENUE JUNCTION FUND, AND ALSO AUTHORIZING
THE ISSUANCE OF FIVE PER CENT REGISTERED WARRANTS IN THE AM015M
OF $ 600.00 FOR MUNICIPAL RAILWAY EMERGENCY FUND.
WHEREAS, Since the adoption of the annual appropriation
ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31st, 1928, an
emergency and unforeseen contingency has arisen, whereby it has
become and is necessary to Tay TWO-HUNp TFTy
($ 250.00 ) Dollars for College and Mountain Avenue Junction
of the Municipal Railway system, and the public necessity requires
an additional appropriation of public funds therefor$; and
WHEREAS, Since the adoption of the annual appropriation
ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31st , 1928, an
emergency and unforeseen contingency has arisen, whereby it has
become and is necessary to pay SIX HUI4D ED
($ 600.00 ) Dollars for Municipal Railway Emergency Fund, and
the public necessity requires an additional appropriation of
public funds therefor; therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS :
Section 1. That there be and hereby is appropriated out
of the general revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the years
1929 and 1930, unless taken up prior thereto, the aim of NIO HUNDRED
FIFTY ($ 250.00 ) Dollars , to be used to pay
for College and Mountain Avenue Junction of the Municipal Railway
system, and which said sum, when this ordinance takes effect , shall
be credited on the books of the City Clerk and the City Treasurer
to College and Mountain Avenue Junction Fund, and registered five
(5%) per cent warrants of the City shall be issued to cover said
amount.

Section 2. That there be and hereby is appropriated
out of the general revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the
years 1929 and 1930 , unless taken up prior thereto, the sum of
SIX HUNDRED ($ 600.00 ) Dollars, to be
used to pay for #unicipal Railway Emergency, and which said sum,
when this ordinance takes effect, shall be credited on the books
of the City Clerk and the City Treasurer to Municipal Railway
Emergency Fund, and registered five (5%) per cent warrants of the
City shall be issued to cover said amount.
Section 3. In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health , peace
and safety and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage
and publication under and by virtue of the authority contained in
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter.
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous
vote of all members of the City Council at a regular meeting held
this 4th day of August , A. D. 1928.

Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing
ordinance consisting of three (3) sections was duly proposed and
read at length at a reLular meeting of the City Council held on the
4th day of August , A. D. 1928, and was duly adopted and ordered
published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper
and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council, as an emergency
ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7
of Article IV of the City Charter; and thereafter and az to-wit :
the 7th day of August , A. D. 1926 , said Ordinance No. 21
was duly published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily
newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins , Colorado .
