PURCHASE OF A PART OF LOTS 1 AND 13, BLOCK , S GTOIT PLACE,
IN THE. CITY OF FORT COLLINS. COLORADO.
71M EAS, Since the adoption of the annual appropriation
ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31st , 1928, an
emergency and unforeseen contingency has arisen, whereby it has k•�

The North 75 feet of Lot 1 , Block 4, Washington
Place, now a part of Fort Collins, Colorado,
also that part of Washington Avenue , Fort
Collins as follows : Commencing at the Northeast
corner of Lot 1, thence East 40 feet, thence
South 75 feet , thence West 40 feet , thence North
75 feet to place of beginning, being a portion
of Lot 13 , Block 4, Washington Place Addition
to the City of Fort Collins,
and the public necessity requires an additional appropriation of
public Hinds therefor; therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUITC IL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLIIITS-
Section 1. That there be and hereby is appropriated
out of the general revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the
years 1929, 1930, 1931 and 1932, unless taken /up prior thereto ,

Dollars , to be used to pay for t;.e purchase
The North 75 feet of Lot 1 , Block 4, Washington
Place, now a part of Fort Collins„ Colorado ,
also that part of Washington Avenue, Fort
Collins as follows : Commencing at the Northeast

75 feet, thence Vilest 40 feet, thence ITorth 75
feet to place of beginning, being a portion of
Lot 13, Block 4, Washington Place Addition to
the City of Fort Collins ,
which said sum, when this ordinance takes effect, shall be credited
on the books of the City Clerk and City Treasurer to the purchase
of a part of Lots 1 and 13, Block 4, Washington Place , Fund, and
registered five (5%) per cent warrants of the City shall be issued
to cover said amount .

Section 2. In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon
its passage and publication, under and by virtue of the
authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the
City Charter .
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council at a regular
meeting held this 1st day of September, A. D. 1928.

I, A. J. ROSENOW, City Clerk of the City of Fort
Collins do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordinance,
consisting of two (2 ) sections was duly proposed and read at
length at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the let
day of September, A. D. 1928, and was duly adopted and ordered
published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper
and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council, as an emergency
ordinance , in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7
of Article IV of the City Charter ; and thereafter and on to-wit:
