That Section 3 of Ordinance Yo.17, 1922, be and the same is hereby aorsnded to read as follows: "Section 3. LI MTIT rT S. The fee for on auctioneerls licsnse covering the sale of second-hand farm implar-ents, wa^ens, automobiles, buggies, harness, saddlery goods, livestock of all lsecrirti^rs, second-hand hcusshold goods not cor^pr+sirg second-hand dealers or merchants stock or any portion thereof, shall be One (y1.00) Dollar per day. An auctine9rrs licsnss for the sale of resident mprc_^art stock of goods and real property shall be Tmnty-five ($25.00) i Dollars per day; provided, however that a resident msrchant who has been in the ser,.e business continuously in the City of Fort Collins for six months or more ir--:adiately prior to applying for a license, may secure an annual license for the sale of his or its merchandiss at auction, such auctions to be conducted upon his or its own remises b in the a p & a Y paying >mm of $100.00 per annum in advance therefor. All other auctioneerts licenses for the sale of transient merchandise brought into the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins for such purpose shall be One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars per day. The license fee to hawk or peddle popcorn, peanuts, candy, ice cream and s�Adwich lunches within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins shall bs T-vanty-five ($25.00) Dollars per annum, payable in advance. The license fee for all oth-ir hawksrs or paddlers or any goods, warps or merchandise within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins shall be Two TSundred ($20C.00) Dollars per annum. All annual license fees heretofore mentioned in this ordinance shall t=rminate on the 31st day of December of each year, and all ,such 1- fees shall be due and paysbl•t on the 1st day of January of each year. Whenever aprlications are received b3twean the 1st day of January and the 31911 day of Decamber, the City Clerk shall charge for such licens3s in proportion as the ree-aining part of tt:a year is to the whole year; for the purposes of this ordinance tb.e month being consid-red as the srall3st subdivision of the year. Section 2. Ordinance No. 4, S9ries of 1924, and all otle r ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety and this ordinance shall take effect u;;,on its passage and publication, undar and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter. D. 1926, and was duly aaopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express- Couri.er, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all the members of the City Council, as an emergency osdin^nee in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article :IV of the City Charter, of the City of Fort Collins, and thereafter and on to-wit: the 16th day of March, A. D. 1926, said Ordinance No. 8 was duly published in the Fort Collins Cxpress-Cbyuisr, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Col'_ins, Colorado.
