BE IT ORDAIPiED BY T E CITY COUiriCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: Section 1 . That Section 3 of Ordinance PTo . �, 1915 , relating to amusements and being - Section 491 of the Fort Collins Code, 1918, .be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows- "Section 491 . - FEES AND FORM OF LICENSE. (Sec . 3) The license fees to be charged as provided in . . Section 1 of this ordinance shall be as follows: All theaters , opera houses , skating rinks and public buildings -.:whe-re theatrical , sleight-of-hand, musical or other entertainments shall be given; the pro- prietor , oicner or manager shall pay the sum of Sixty Dol- lars (�60. 00) per annur: in advance. For all circuses , menageries , or circuses and _menageries co ;bined, with all its property, equip- ment and supplies of every kind used for its transporta- tien, where not over forty (40) cars are used, One Hun dred Dollars ($100.00) per day; and for each railroad car occupied or used by said show in excess of forty cars , T,vo Dollars and fifty cents (()2.50) per day per car . For each dog and pony .show .where all its property, equipment and supplies of every kind used for its transportation does not exceed five (5) railroad cars, Twenty-five Dollars ($25 . 00) per day, and for ten (10) rail-road. cars Fifty Dollars ( 50. 00) per day; over ten (10) railroad cars Two Dollars and fifty. cents (P2 .50) per day per car . All street or tent snows Fifteen Dollars ($15 . 00) per day , for.,each and -every tent employed in . giving said show. A tent as herein mentioned shall be defined to mean an exhibition given within an enclosure, whether covered or not . Public dances Two Dollars and fifty cents s (f2 .50) per night , or day , as the case Y.tay be. il?erry-go-rounds,Five Dollars ("$5. 00) per day for each mac_rine. Ferris wheels , Five Dollars (� 5 . 00) per day for each machine. aoving. "syringe and other similar apparatus Five Dollars ($5 . oc) per day per each. All other forme of public amusement or apparatus therefor , Five Dollars (a5 .00) per day for each. No license issued as herein provided shall be transferable , and ;ray be revoked by the City Council upon conviction of the licensee of any violation of any of the provisions of t":lis ordinance, or upon good cause shown to the satisfaction of the City Council; and all permits shall be, subject to the same conditions as to revocation. " Section 2 . In the opinion of the City Council an emerger_cy exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upchh ` its passage and publication under 'and by virtue of the autho- rity contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article Iv of the City Charter .
