BEII\IG.-AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RELATING TO: THE NABBING OF
THE ALLEY IN BLDCK. TWO (2) , LYING NORTH OF WILLOW. STREET
IN• THE CITY OF FORT. .COLLINS, AND PROVIDING FOR THE• N JM
BERING' OF THE SA IE.
WHEREAS, Application was' duly made to- the
City Council , requesting .the adoption of an .ordinance .pro-
viding for the 'naming of the. alley and numbering of 'the
places fronting on said alley;, and
WHEREAS, . Said application was referred to
the City Engineer , and on the 24th day of July, .1920, the
City- Engineer duly reported. to . the City -Council , recommend-
ing that the alley lying north. of Willow Street, in Block
Two ("2) ; in; the City of :Fort ,Collins,' be given the name of
"Poudre Place" , .and its numbers be' co.nsidered and derived
from its prolongation to an intersection with. North College
Avenue; therefore; in consideration of: the premises,
BE IT ORDAINED. BY THE CITY• COUNCIL OF THE CITY- OF -FORT COLLINS :
Section.l. That the alley in Block- Two (2) ,.
lying north of Willow Street , and extending to the . intersec
tion with Pine Street on the' west and to the intersection with
Linden Street on the east , shall hereafter be known by the name
of "Poudre Place'!,: and the numbering of. the ' alley in said
Block shall begin with three hundred on the west end of said
alley, in accordance with the rules and "regulations' heretofore
` ,adopted by'-the City Counc11 respecting the number of places
:abutting on streets in both;'the residence and business' por-
tions of ,the.. City of Fort Collins.'
Section 2. . All. ordinances and parts of'ordi-
trances in conflict with -this .ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. In the .:opinion of the City Council
.an emergency exists -for the' pr'e.servation 'of the public health,
-peace and safety , and this ordinance .shall take effect upon
its passage and, publication, under and by dirtue of the autho- .
r•ity' contained 'in Sections 6. and 7 of`-Article IT of- the City
Charter.
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the
unanimous. vote ,of all the members of the. City Council this
7th day of August , A.D. 1920. .` ,

published. in the Fort Collins Express, a daily newspaper
published in the. City of Fort. Collins, , Colorado.
