BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No.�?, 1920, amending Section 7 of Ordinance No. 19, 1917, relating to the regulation and operation of all kinds of vehicles upon the streets and alleys within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: "Section 7. All ve1-1cles shall stop near the curb, except in cases of emergency or for the purpose of allow- ing another vehicle or pedestrian to cross, and except as re- quired in Section 6 of this ordinance, and no vehicle shall be permitted to stop in any street or alley within the corporate limits of said City, except to the right and near the curb; and when the owner or person in charge of any vehicle may desire to leave the same upon the street for any period of time , said vehicle shall be parked,in the College Avenue Paving Districts, upon the east side of the railway track, at an angle of ninety degrees to said track, with the front end of the car distant therefrom five feet nine inches, and no parking shall be allow- ed in the center of the street in ,Tountain Avenue Paving Dis- trict from the east side of College Avenue to the east side of Remington Street . When the owner or person in charge of any vehicle shall desire to leave the same upon the street for any period of time, said vehicle shall be parked as near as may be at an angle of forty-five degrees to the curb and not to exceed two feet from the curb. No car parked on the curb shall back out more than six feet without stopping. Cars parked in the center paving, in either College Avenue Paving Districts or 11ourtain Avenue Paving District , are prohibited fro,,:i backing and shall proceed in the direction in which the car is facing when moving from the parking. Parking in the paving districts is xrohibited between the hours of one o' clock A.H. and six o' clock A.'11. All persons and corporations are hereby pro- hibited from transporting beet pulp over , across or upon any paving districts or streets within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins, or allowing any beet wagon to stand upon said pavements or streets when loaded with beet pulp , providing beet pulp may be transported over , upon and across the streets Unof City of Fort Collins when carried in water tight wagons, Ci and the oviner and operator of said wagon or wagons has a certi- ficate to that effect froi:i the Commissioner of Public Yorks of the City of Fort Collins. " Section 2 . All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3 . In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication, under and by virtue of the authority con- tEtied in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter.
