BE IT ORDAINED BY THE; CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 7, of the series of 1917, passed and adopted February 26, 1917, be amended so as to read as follows: "Section 1. All that portion of the City of Fort Collins embraced within the following described limits, shall hereafter be known as the fire limits of the City of Fort Collins: Commencing at a point at the intersection of Cherry Street and Jason Street in said City, thence south along the center of Xason Street to the center of LaPorte Avenue; thence west along the center line of LaPorte Avenue to the center of Howes Street; thence south along the center line of Howes Street to the center of Olive Street; thence east along the center line of Olive Street to the center of Peterson Street; thence north along the center line of Peterson Street to the center of :fountain Avenue; thence northeasterly to the center of Jefferson Street; thence northwesterly along the center of Jefferson Street to the center of College Avenue; thence north along the center line of College Avenue to the center of the intersection of Cherry Street with College Avenue; thence west along the center line of Cherry Street to the place of beginning, being the center of the intersection of Cherry Street and :.;anon Street . No building of any king. shall be erected within said limits unless permissi^n to construct the same is obtained and the same is constructed pursuant to the ordinances now in force in said City ^,r the ordinances hereafter to be passed and adopted by said City Council of said City, relating to building and building inspection_. " Section 2 . All ordinances and parts of ordi- nanc s in conflict riith Leis ordinance are hereby repealed . Section 3 . In the opinion of the Ci`.y Council an zmergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage -nd publication under and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter .
