RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF GRADES UPON' MASON
STREET AND PROVIDING FOR THE PERMANENT IMPROVEMENT
THEREOF BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS CURBS AND
GUTTERS AND THE SURFACING OF THE ROADWAY WITH GRAVEL
AND AMENDING THAT PORTION OF SECTION 6 OF ORDINANCE
NO 109 19149 RELATING TO SIDEWALKS CURBS AND GUTTERS
ALD PARTICULARLY THAT PORTION OF SECTION 6 FIXING THE
CURB LINE UPON MASON STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That the grade for Mason Street is hereby
fixed established and declared to be as follows to-wit
Beginning at the intersection of Mason Street with the
south line of Mountain Avenue which is station 0+00 the eleva-
tion at the east sidewalk intersection 103 09 at the center of
Mason Street 104 26 at the sidewalk intersection on the west
side 104 00 at station 1+06 on the east sidewalk line 103 68
at the north side of Oak Street at the east sidewalk intersection
108 00 at the center line 108 29 at the sidewalk intersection
on the west 109 04 at the south side of Oak Street on the east
sidewalk intersection 109.20 at the center line 109 22 at the
sidewalk intersection on the west side 110 20 at station 5+40 at
the center line 109 66 at station 6+40 at the center line 110 58
at station 7+00 the elevation of the sidewalk on the east side
111 10 at the center line 111 08 at the sidewalk on the west
side 111 84 at station 7f40 the center line 111 34 at station
8+40 at the center line 111 94 at the north side of Olive Street
at the east sidewalk intersection 112 20 at the center line
112 24 at the sidewalk intersection on the west 112 90 at the
south side of Olive Street at the east sidewalk intersection
112 50 at the center line 112 54 at the sidewalk intersection
on the west 113 30 at station 10+40 at the center line 112 64
at station 11+40 at the center line 112 75 at station 12+00 the
elevation of the sidewalk on the east side 113 00 at the west
sidewalk line 113 50 at the north side of Magnolia Street at
the east sidewalk intersection 112 40 at the center line 112 76
at the west sidewalk intersection 112 40 at the south side of
Magnolia at the east sidewalk intersection 112 20 at the center
line 112 76, at the sidewalk intersection on the west 112.32
at the north side of Mulberry Street at the east sidewalk inter-
section 112 00 at the center line 112 76 at the west sidewalk
intersection 112 00 at the south side of Mulberry Street at the
east sidewalk intersection 112 00 at the center line 112 98 at
the sidewalk intersection on the west 112 00 at the north side
of Myrtle Street at the east sidewalk intersection 113 80 at the
center line 114 02 at the sidewalk intersection on the west side
114 36 at the south side of Myrtle Street at the east sidewalk

Section 2 That Section 6 of Ordinance No 10 1914
relating to sidewalks curbs and gutters and particularly that
portion of said Section 6 fixing the distance of the outside
,, curb line from the property line respecting Mason Street be
and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows
"Mason Street Sixteen (16) feet "

Section 3 The city council having heretofore ordered
by resolution that Mason Street be improved from the south line
of Mountain Avenue to the south line of Laurel Street by changing
the grade of the track of the Colorado & Southern Railway from
the intersection with Mountain Avenue to 100 feet south of Olive
Street from 1 59 per cent. grade to a one per cent grade and
further to completely grade said portion of Mason Street herein
described and gravel the same and the expense thereof to be
paid out of the permanent street fund, the Colorado & Southern
Railway Company sharing in the cost of said improvement and further
the city council deem it necessary that the sidewalks curbs and
gutters be constructed n both sides of Mason Street from the
intersection of Mountain Avenue to the south line of Laurel Street
to make said sidewalks curbs and gutters to conform to the newly
established grades of said Street as the same is to be improved;
and the said sidewalks curbs and gutters are hereby ordered to
be constructed by the owner of property abutting upon said street
and upon the Blocks herein described

Which said sidewalks curbs and gutters shall be constructed
under the supervision of the City Engineer and in accordance
with requirements of the ordinances and the regulations of the
City Engineer respecting the construction of the same and if
the said sidewalks curbs and gutters are not constructed by
the property owner within thirty (30) days after the passage
of this ordinance and its taking effect as provided by law
then the City of Fort Collins will construct said sidewalks
curbs and gutters or cause said work to be done and the
cost thereof will be charged against the property and the
owners thereof and the same duly assessed and collected as
provided by law notice of the ordering of the construction
of said sidewalks curbs and gutters shall be given by the
city clerk mailing a copy of this ordinance to each of the
owners of property adjacent to which said sidewalks curbs
and gutters are ordered to be constructed to the last known
post office address of said owner and the city clerk shall
file a certificate of said mailing in his office and a duplicate
thereof in the office of the City Engineer
Section 4 All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed

passage a period of more than ten days having elapsed since the
publication as above set forth and that said ordinance was upon
second reading adopted as an ordinance and thereafter and on
